Today we held our first Count on Me workshop!

I shared the Early Learning Goals for mathematics and talked about fun, simple activities that parents can try at home to support early number skills.

The children then enjoyed a hands-on activity where they counted five leaves to create their own hedgehog puppet. Through this, we practised counting to five, recognising numerals, and matching numerals to quantities.

We finished by singing a variety of number rhymes, helping to build a strong foundation in counting, rhythm, and mathematical language.
