Today we held our first maths count on me workshop for parents and children in Reception.

I shared with parents the ELG for maths and how we aim to achieve this by yhe end of the year.

We then had lots of fun having a go at firework themed activities.  Including using paintbrushes in sand to form numbers , chalk pictures looking at shape , colour and size , size ordering of fireworks, making and creating number themed story telling people and natural fireworks with materials from our forest school.

At the end we joined in with the rhyme 5 little fireworks
