Anti-Bullying Week in 1/2B

Anti-Bullying Week in 1/2B

It has been wonderful to learn about anti-bullying in 1/2B!

On Monday, we had our odd socks day!

On Tuesday, we had a wonderful workshop with Ann Foxley-Johnson where the children explored what bullying is, and how we should respond if we see it happening or are experiencing it ourselves! Ann planned lots of lovely activities. For one activity, we got in a circle and the children had to pass a compliment on around the circle. It was so lovely to see and hear all the kind things that the children had to say.

On Wednesday, we all created a pledge to be kind and to stand up to bullies! The children drew around their hand and decorated it in any way they wanted to. They look amazing!

On Thursday, we had a circle time to discuss bullying and how important it is to be kind.

Throughout the week, we all had a good dance to the song “Power for Good” by Andy and the Odd Socks.

We will use our power for good!
