Over the weekend and today in Reception the children have been spotting different birds , recording and logging on the RSPB website the amount of birds seen in a set time. Being creative at home to make wonderful bird pictures and homemade binoculars.

In class today we went for a walk around the school grounds and worked with a partner to spot and record different winter birds. We listened to the different sounds, found some bird feeder stations and then were creative back in class using our phonics knowledge to write a single word or caption about birds.

We will continue this week to keep a look out from our bird station and share our wonderful learning.
