The children loved using the space to find hidden quotes from 9 of Shakespeare’s plays. They then had to read a short summary from each play and decide which play their quote came from. We worked in small teams and we did very well when matching quotes to plays. The experience also generated lots of talk about Shakespeare and his plays and some children were keen to look at them further in our reading for pleasure sessions.
