We took our maths learning to the Forest School! We are learning about multiplication and division. This lesson focused on solving multiplication sums using repeated addition. The children were tasked with gathering as many natural resources as they could. Each group was given a object to collect e.g. rocks, sticks and leaves. Once the children had gathered their items, we came together on the stage to answer questions. I gave the children a question like 4 times 3, and they had to race to make 4 groups of 3 objects and count each one to find the total! We had lots of fun. Well done, everyone!
