Today whilst out at forest school our aim was to create a big hotel for all the insects and minibeasts.

We first found an ideal spot to start building and then we worked together to find different sized sticks and materials to create the house.  Along the way we found a number of insects which were carefully placed in their new home. The insects included a woodlouse, a slug and a spider.

We will be revisting the forest school daily to check up and continue to adapt and expand on the bug hotel.

We can’t wait to see if any new insects have started to create new homes in the bug hotel.
